Meeting RoomTravel along Spain's sunny Mediterranean coast with seasoned travelers Barbara Sugden and Ron Vargason.
Spain's sunny Mediterranean coast is a popular winter playground that is also rich in agriculture - especially olive trees. Layers of history have left Andalucia with the best of art and architecture - Neanderthal cave paintings, Roman forums and bridges, ornate Moorish palaces-turned-cathedrals, flamenco music, and the works of Pablo Picasso. We'll see the Alhambra in Granadan, Mesquita in Cordoba, and Spain's oldest bullring in Ronda. We will walk the beaches of Nerja and Estepona, explore vibrant Seville with its tasty tapas and maze of narrow, winding streets. Enjoy a peek at the British Overseas Territory of Gibralter, home of the famous Barbary apes.
