• Provides concierge, circulation, and account services which include creating and managing library accounts, processing fines, handling materials, and supporting collection maintenance in coordination with Tech Services and Collection Management.
• Participates in service rotation at the lobby desk, drive-up window, call center, and during opening/closing procedures.
• Supports the Supervisor with patron registration, billing issues, damaged materials, supply inventory, and statistical reporting.
• Explains library policies, responds to patron inquiries and concerns, and refers unresolved issues as needed.
• Helps foster a positive, welcoming library environment.
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for working with the public
• Full Time or Part Time: Part time with Pro-Rated Benefits (non-exempt)
• Hours: 25-28 hours a week, including night and weekend rotation
• Salary: $18.11-21.30/hour (midpoint); internal equity is used in determining the rate of pay

• Creates new Library card accounts and provides account assistance
• Performs material check in/out and fulfills customer holds requests
• Assists in maintaining library collections and displays by reshelving returned items, straightening shelves, and monitoring displays
• Promotes Library programs and services
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of related experience (Library experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Full Time or Part Time: Part Time with Limited Benefits (non-exempt)
• Hours: 12-18 hours a week, including night and weekend rotation
• Salary: $16.50-17.75 hour (midpoint); internal equity is used in determining the rate of pay
