Primary Duties Include:
• Works collaboratively to curate a strong line-up of presenter-led programming.
• Develops and facilitates library services and adult programming by contracting external presenters and performers.
• Assists customers at busy public service points within the Library with reference, reader’s advisory, and electronic resources.
• Tracks and processes attendance data and evaluates program outcomes to inform future programming decisions.
• Stays informed on current and emerging programming trends to enhance offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications:
• Associates degree or equivalent level of experience required
• 2 years of related public library experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to use and troubleshoot building technology such as computers, AV systems, and assistive devices
Position Details:
• Full Time or Part Time: Part time with limited benefits (non-exempt)
• Hours: Up to 19 hours per week not to exceed 1,000 hours per year, including nights and weekends
• Salary: $21.73 to $25.56/hour (midpoint); internal equity is used in determining the rate of pay
