MakerspaceTry leatherworking basics! Learn stitching, edge finishing, and embossing, while crafting a beginner‑friendly two‑pocket card wallet to take home!
Discover the art of leatherworking in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop! All tools and materials will be provided by the library, and participants will receive guided instruction on using traditional leatherworking tools such as mallets, stitch chisels, leather needles, and more. Some tools will be shared, creating a collaborative and welcoming makerspace atmosphere. Earplugs will be available for comfort if the space becomes noisy during the process. By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a handcrafted leather wallet—and the skills and confidence to keep creating on their own!
