Combined Study Rooms 4 & 5Facilitated by author and teacher Rick Holinger, this workshop welcomes writers of all abilities and genres. This month's topic: Genre Writing.
What defines a particular genre? This workshop will look specifically at the fantasy and sci-fi genres, with glances at the western, romance, horror, thriller, etc. Should a writer of genre fiction stick closely to expected norms, or bend the expected tropes?
The Night Writers Workshop discusses various topics within writing and provides a welcoming environment for peer feedback.
