HerStory shares stories of women from the early years through today that continue to make an impact on the city of Geneva.
Celebrate Women's History month by learning about Geneva's impactful women! Inspired by the strength and determination of one of Geneva’s earliest settlers, Charity Herrington, women have continued to influence and improve the well-being of our city. Although women were denied the opportunity to vote and received no public acknowledgement for their efforts, women in Geneva exercised their rights as citizens to shape public policy and create institutions.
