Join Clarence Goodman for this presentation about the Great Migration and the Great War and the ways they permanently changed the American landscape.
Musician, historian, and radio personality Clarence Goodman will discuss the relationship between two seismic events taking place as the 20th Century approached: the relocation of more than six million Black Americans from the rural South to the cities of the North, Midwest, and West, and World War I, also known as the Great War.
