Anna Dopke was born and raised in Elgin, IL, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University Law School in Carbondale. She was licensed to practice law in Illinois in 2013 and joined the Law Office of Judith A. Schening, LLC in early 2014. Anna is a member of the Kane County Bar Association and has been on the Editorial Board of the Kane County Bar Briefs since 2017, serving as the Editor-in-Chief of this bi-monthly publication since 2018. As an only child, Anna knows firsthand that family is everything, and that taking care of family is paramount in life.
