Join the Geneva Learners group to discuss a predetermined topic—the topics range from local, international, and everything in between.

Geneva Learners is a world affairs discussion group that meets every Friday morning at 10 a.m. to discuss a predetermined topic—the topics range from local, international, and everything in between. The group welcomes everyone and strives for diversity of opinion and respectful discussion.

This event can be attended either in-person or through Zoom. Please register in advance to receive the Zoom meeting link. 

October's topics include:

• October 4th: Why Is Everything So Expensive?
• October 11th: What is Truth, What is Just?
• October 18th: Open Spaces and the Environment, with guest presenters: Jennifer Clough & Laurie Metanchuk (Forest Preserve District of Kane County) and John Rogner (Kane Neighbors for Open Space, Clean Water & Clean Air).
• October 25th: Federal Spending & the Deficit Myth
