This month's selection is The August Virgin / La Virgen de Agosto (Spain). In this drama, Eva is not satisfied with her life. Looking for a fresh perspective, she takes a leap of faith and decides to stay in Madrid over the summer, when all the other locals leave. August offers her a chance to start from scratch. Starring Itsaso Arana, Vito Sanz, and Isabelle Stoffel. Directed by Jonás Trueba. Released in 2019. Rated PG-13. Running time 2hr 5min.
