Join the Geneva Learners group to discuss a predetermined topic—the topics range from local, international, and everything in between.

Geneva Learners is a world affairs discussion group that meets every Friday morning at 10 a.m. to discuss a predetermined topic—the topics range from local, international, and everything in between. The group welcomes everyone and strives for diversity of opinion and respectful discussion.

This event can be attended either in-person or through Zoom. Discussion topics are typically announced 1-2 days prior to the event.

August’s Topics Include:

• August 2nd: Technology and Maker Services at the Library
• August 9th: Quotations Worthy of Reflection
• August 16th: The Ethics of All Out War
• August 23rd: Public High School in Illinois
• August 30th: Climate Change and Pollution at the Personal and State Level
