Join us for this six-week journey to learn basic American Sign Language! We will learn a variety of basic signs, the importance of Deaf culture, and ways to utilize space, facial expressions, and body language to convey a message. We recommend attending all six weeks; each week builds upon the next.
Week 1: The alphabet, basic introductions, numbers 1-10
Week 2: Yes/No questions, WH-questions, facial expressions and body language
Week 3: Family/Friends
Week 4: Days of the week, food, and colors
Week 5: Emotions, clothing, other misc. descriptions
Week 6: House/Work/School
