Meeting RoomJoin us for a fascinating look at the connections between the American and French Revolutions and how they influenced one another.
Professor Aaron Fogleman will address the essence of the American Revolution, the impact of France on the Revolution, the impact of the Revolution on France, and the American and French Revolutions as part of an “Age of Revolutions.” This program is presented in partnership with the City of Geneva's International Cultural Exchange Committee (ICEC).
Aaron Fogleman is a Board of Trustees Professor and Distinguished Research Professor in the History Department at Northern Illinois University. His teaching and scholarship fields include the Atlantic World and Early America, and he has published many books and articles in these areas, especially regarding immigration, religion, gender, and revolution, all of which appeared on his mother’s living room wall shelf. He has lived in Batavia since 2005.
