Project of the Month: Sublimation Puzzle (Adults)

FOR GENEVA CARDHOLDERS – APPOINTMENT REQUIRED

Use the sublimation printer and Glowforge to create your own custom photo puzzle. Basic computer skills are required. Bring a photo you'd like to use.

Register for an appointment to learn how to use the sublimation printer to print your favorite photo. During the session, we will guide you through the process of transferring your image onto a piece of maple wood using a heat press. Once your design is complete, you'll use the Glowforge puzzle-making feature to create a custom puzzle, which will then be cut with the Glowforge laser cutter.

The Project of the Month is appointment-based programming available for GPLD cardholders only. One appointment per person per month. Materials and guidance provided by the library.

Appointments for this project are available between Oct. 5, 2026, and Oct. 23, 2026, during weekdays. Follow the steps to make an appointment:

1. Click on 'Register'
2. Select a date and time that is convenient for you
3. Insert your contact information into the maker form
4. In the drop-down menu under "How can we help," choose "Project of the Month"
5. In the final required note, type in "puzzle"
