Join us to learn more about how to create meaningful connections to help reduce isolation and loneliness for older adults.

Learn more about Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly (LBFE), serving older adults in DuPage and Kane Counties. LBFE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing isolation and fostering meaningful connections for older adults through friendship, visits, and shared experiences. Loneliness has become an increasingly important public health issue for older adults, and libraries play a vital role as trusted, welcoming spaces for education and connection.

LBFE offers a community program focused on social isolation and loneliness among older adults. We would love to present an engaging, accessible program that could include:

• An overview of social isolation and loneliness among older adults
• Why connection and community matter as we age
• Practical ways community members can support older adults
• Information about local resources and opportunities to get involved
