Saturday, September 26
1:30pm - 3:30pm

Discover new ways to weave the extraordinary into your storytelling through discussion, inspiration, and hands-on writing.

Explore how paranormal and supernatural elements can add depth, intrigue, and atmosphere to your creative writing in this engaging two-hour workshop led by author Donna Kathryn Kelly. Through an interactive presentation, participants will examine how speculative themes have shaped literature, poetry, and film across time. The session concludes with a guided writing exercise designed to help writers develop authentic characters and dialogue while experimenting with supernatural or paranormal concepts in their own work. Writers of all genres and experience levels are welcome.
