Geneva Public Library District
Conference Room (1st Floor)Join us this month to read the Norwegian hit "The Ferryman and His Wife" by Frode Grytten
At this unique book club, we talk about books and go beyond to discuss literary topics, influence, and culture. Join us from August through November as we discover the novella. We continue this literary journey with The Ferryman and His Wife by Frode Grytten.
This 176-page story is the winner of the prestigious Brage Prize and is considered Grytten’s long-awaited masterpiece. The Ferryman and His Wife is the story of a quiet, yet utterly profound, life told in reverse. Timeless and absorbing, this is a novel about what we take with us—those moments that might seem insignificant as they happen but prove to be the most meaningful, in the end.
