Meeting RoomGail Morales will share a sonically guided meditative journey with soft stretches, using crystal singing bowls and other instruments.
Dating back as far as the 12th century, singing bowls have been used throughout Asia for meditation, ritual, and healing ceremonial purposes. This full-body listening experience will take you on a sonically-guided meditative journey, as vibrations from crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gongs gently wash away stress and tension. We will also learn some soft stretching exercises to further expand taking charge of your health and well-being.
Gail Morales has been practicing yoga for over twenty years and became a yoga teacher in 2015. Being a lifelong learner, she continues to educate herself on the different healing modalities, be it inner or physical, to live an authentic and peaceful life. She has certifications in sound, breathwork, meditation, hatha yoga, chair yoga, yin, restorative yoga, and qigong.
Participants may bring their own yoga mats or use a chair for a seated experience. The Library has a limited number of yoga mats for use. Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle, if needed.
