Geneva Public Library District
Meeting RoomThinkFirst For Life! is an educational program focused on preventing injuries among older adult drivers.
ThinkFirst for Life! offers information on safe driving practices and tips to reduce the risk of crash-related injuries. As people age, they undergo physical, visual, and mental changes that make them more susceptible to medical conditions that can affect their ability to drive safely. ThinkFirst For Life! aims to educate the community on the changes in driving as we age and how to stay safe on the road while preserving independence.
The program addresses areas of concern, provides guidance on protecting oneself, and offers advice for staying active and independent for as long as possible. Maintaining safe mobility throughout life is a shared responsibility, involving aging adults, their families, friends, and professionals who work with older adults.
