Myths and History of the Great Highland Bagpipes (Adults)

Meeting RoomJ. Kevin Chapman will share the rich history of bagpipes, one of the world's oldest instruments, in honor of Scottish American Heritage Month.
A Distinguished Toastmasters speaker, J. Kevin Chapman, is one of the best Chicago bagpipers who has delivered 75+ presentations on the myths and history of the great highland bagpipes. He will take the audience on a journey through one of the oldest instruments still played today. This journey travels through history, beginning with the origin of the bagpipes and concluding with a display of his regalia and a performance on the pipes.
