Join us for a performance of storytelling and improvisational theater featuring your true stories of building community, connection, and solidarity.

Everyone has a story to tell. What if you could share your story and watch it come to life before your eyes? Join us for "Stories Connect Us," a cross-community story-sharing event, currently touring with The Connecting Routes Project. Attend a performance of storytelling and improvisational theater featuring your true stories of building community, connection, and solidarity interpreted onstage by the Chicago Playback Theatre Ensemble. Following the performance, the storytelling continues through recording stations, written prompts, and interactive activities. Visit www.connectingroutes.org/storiesconnectus for more information about this multi-year project!

As part of our 5th annual One Book, One Community celebration, we will give away six copies of this year's read, The Correspondent by Virginia Evans! Want a chance to win? Grab a green drawing ticket from a library staff member when you arrive, winners will be announced at the end of the program.
