Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with seasoned travelers Barbara Sugden and Ron Vargason as they take us on an armchair tour of Ireland!

Travel by barge, ferry, car, and foot to see this little green island of lush landscapes, rolling hills, barren rocky fields, dramatic coastlines, vibrant cities, and age-old historic sites that became home to Celts, Vikings, and Normans long before it formed the two countries it hosts today: the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It’s filled with myths and magic as well as golden ages of scholarship and literature. But it’s also had a long and tortured history with determined, everyday heroes willing to sacrifice all for a chance at life and liberty. Hear stories throughout the ages that make Ireland a one-of-a-kind destination today. Photos are from 2025.
