Whether you're just beginning your family history journey or you're a seasoned genealogist, the State of Illinois offers a rich variety of records to support your research. From vital records to military archives, this session will guide you through the key resources available.
Jenny Warner, Instructor and Professional Genealogist, will outline practical steps to enhance your genealogy exploration. Learn how to access and interpret records that can unlock new insights into your ancestry and help you build a more complete family story.
As part of our 5th annual One Book, One Community celebration, we will give away six copies of this year's read, The Correspondent by Virginia Evans! Want a chance to win? Grab a green drawing ticket from a library staff member when you arrive. Winners will be announced at the end of the program.
