Ready to stitch up some fun? Knit your own cup cozy on our new 22-hook machine! No experience necessary. Maximum of 2 people per appointment.

Ready to crank out some cozy creativity? Discover how easy and satisfying machine knitting can be! During this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to use the library’s new 22-hook knitting machine to create a soft, snug cup cozy — perfect for keeping your favorite drink warm and your hands comfortable. Our staff will guide you through every step, from setting up the machine to finishing your project. No knitting experience required — just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! The Project of the Month appointment-based programs are available for GPLD cardholders only. One appointment per person per month. Materials and guidance provided by the library.

Appointments for this project are available between January 05, 2026 and January 23, 2026 during week days. Follow the steps to make an appointment:

1. Click on 'Register'
2. Select a date and time that is convenient for you
3. Insert your contact information into the maker form
4. In the drop down menu under "How can we help" choose "Project of the Month"
5. In the final required notes question type in "Knitting Machine"
