In the 1960's, she changed American women's fashion with her carefree shift dresses in whimsical, bold patterns. But who was Lilly Pulitzer? In this historical portrayal, historian and actress Leslie Goddard, Ph.D., brings to life the entrepreneur and fashion designer who launched a style revolution. Learn what inspired this free-spirited young socialite to start a line of lightweight tropical dresses and how they became synonymous with resort living.
Leslie Goddard is an award-winning scholar and actress who has been portraying great women in history for more than twenty years. She holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from Northwestern University as well as a master's degree and an undergraduate degree in theater. A former museum director, she currently works full-time as an actress, public speaker, and author.
