Meeting RoomThis presentation will leave you with the knowledge and confidence to protect yourself online—no tech experience required!
Join Tony LaPalio, Founder and CEO of Senior Tech Support, for a timely and practical presentation designed to help you feel safer and more confident in today’s digital world. This engaging session combines two essential topics—Internet Safety and Password Management—into one powerful learning experience tailored specifically for older adults.
You’ll start by learning the core principles of internet safety: how to be aware, be prepared, and be defensive while browsing, emailing, and using your devices. Understand how to recognize SPAM, adjust your device’s privacy settings, and stay protected from common threats. From there, we’ll explore the world of online scams—what they look like, how to spot them, and what to do if you fall victim.
Then we’ll dive into the secrets of strong password management. Discover how to create secure passwords that are easy to remember but hard to crack, and learn how password managers can help you stay organized and safe. You’ll also be introduced to the power of two-factor authentication and walk away with clear steps to take if your password or account is ever compromised.
