Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a live music performance with Linda Marie Smith focusing on the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo!

Frida Kahlo: A Woman Who Dared is a powerful music & multimedia concert experience that brings the iconic artist’s life to the stage through original music, vivid storytelling, and immersive visuals. Featuring a dynamic ensemble of musicians, the show celebrates Frida’s courage, creativity, and unwavering commitment to social justice—offering an unforgettable performance that speaks to audiences across generations.

Linda Marie Smith is a Chicago-based musician, composer, and storyteller with a passion for bringing history and mythology to life through music. She has premiered two previous multimedia concerts to critical acclaim: The Triumph of Artemisia and Mearra - Selkie from the Sea. Her unique storytelling approach blends lush musical arrangements with powerful narrative and visuals, creating deeply immersive audience experiences.

The doors will open for seating approximately 10-15 minutes before the program begins.
