In celebration of International Board Game Month, join us for a fascinating presentation on the cultural journey of Mah-jongg—from its origins in China to its popularity in the U.S.
Presenter Yvonne Wolf of Chinese Intercultural, LLC will explore the meanings behind tiles like characters (AKA kraks), bamboos (AKA bams), and dots, and explain the differences between Mah-jongg and mahjong. Discover the history, symbols, expressions, and cultural evolution of this beloved game.
