Project of the Month: Sew a Bowl Cozy (Adults)

Sew your own bowl cozy using the Library’s sewing machine! All materials and step-by-step guidance provided—perfect for beginners!

Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly sewing session where you'll create your very own bowl cozy! Using the Library’s sewing machines and materials, you’ll learn how to cut, layer, and stitch fabric and batting to make a functional and stylish cozy that protects your hands from hot or cold bowls. Library staff will guide you through each step—no sewing experience needed! Leave with a finished project and a new skill. Register for an appointment to learn how to use the library's sewing machine. Sign up for an appointment today!

The Project of the Month appointment-based programs are available for GPLD cardholders only. One appointment per person per month. Materials and guidance provided by the library.

Appointments for this project are available between November 03, 2025 and November 21, 2025 during week days. Follow the steps to make an appointment:

1. Click on 'Register'
2. Select a date and time that is convenient for you
3. Insert your contact information into the maker form
4. In the drop down menu under "How can we help" choose "Project of the Month"
5. In the final required notes question type in "Bowl Cozy"
