Sew a drawstring bag in this hands-on sewing appointment! All materials and guidance provided by the library. One person per appointment.

Come try this sewing project for beginners. Register for an appointment to learn how to use the library's sewing machine and sewing tools available. We will guide you through how to set up the sewing machine and prepare your fabric for sewing. Sign up for an appointment today!

The Project of the Month appointment-based programs are available for GPLD cardholders only. One appointment per person per month. Materials and guidance provided by the library.

Appointments for this project are available between August 01, 2025 and August 29, 2025 during week days. Follow the steps to make an appointment:

1. Click on 'Register'
2. Select a date and time that is convenient for you
3. Insert your contact information into the maker form
4. In the drop down menu under "How can we help" choose "Project of the Month"
5. In the final required notes question type in "Drawstring Bag"
