Meeting RoomAuto historian Mitch Frumkin presents a fast-paced multimedia cruise through the Chicago Auto Show from 1901 to 2025.
A dynamic 50-minute video presentation that chronicles the evolution of the annual event from its inception in 1901 to the latest 2025 edition will be shared by auto historian Mitch Frumkin. Mitch's fast-paced video features carefully-selected archival photos, film clips, audio recordings, and personal insights that immerse the audience into the excitement and grandeur of the previous 117 auto shows. Highlights include the Fabulous 1950s, the evolution of 1960s Muscle and Pony Cars, Imports, Exotic Supercars from around the world, Futuristic Dream and Concept Vehicles, as well as musical stage revues, appearances by legendary sports and entertainment celebrities, community beauty queens, and even live cougars!
Attendees will have a chance to win complimentary passes to the 118th Annual Chicago Auto Show, scheduled for Feb. 7-16, 2026, along with the latest car care products from Turtle Wax and copies of the book First To One Hundred: History of the First 100 Chicago Auto Shows.
