Geneva Public Library District
Combined Study Rooms 4 & 5Jim Kleinwachter of The Conservation Foundation addresses what we can do in our own backyards to help both insects and birds.
Humanity for Habitat is a nationwide program to include habitat for pollinators such as butterflies, moths, and bees in our own yards. Even small areas of Illinois native plants can bring much needed food and shelter for the creatures we live nearby, including insects and birds. Jim Kleinwachter of The Conservation Foundation will also talk about solving water issues in our yards using native plants and how homeowners can help clean the Fox River by not sending storm water into the river.
