Join us as we learn more about the iconic "Golden Couple!"
Robert Motherwell helped to bridge the European DADA and Surrealist art movements with the US emergence of Abstract Expressionism. Motherwell was educated and well-traveled. Helen Frankenthaler had the courage to bring beauty to the Abstract Expressionist movement. Together they were considered by their peers to be the GOLDEN COUPLE. Although their marriage would only last 13 years, Motherwell's and Frankenthaler's contributions to the art world made a lasting impression. They inspired and moved the needle on 20th Century Art.
