As we anticipate next Sunday's switch to Daylight Saving Time, discover the history of the Elgin National Watch Company. Commonly known as the Elgin Watch Company, the company was a major watch maker from 1864 to 1968. For nearly 100 years, the company's manufacturing complex in Elgin, IL was the world's largest site dedicated to watchmaking.
