Project of the Month: Sewing - Make a Pillow (Geared for Adults)

APPOINTMENT REQUIRED

Come learning about the sewing machine and make a pillow! Choose from fabric provided or bring your own.

Register for an appointment to learn about the libraries sewing machine - Janome DC 1050. You will receive a sewing overview to help you prepare the machine to sew your very own pillow. The library will be providing an assortment of 100% cotton fabric, but you may bring own cotton fabric or two fat quarter squares. The Project of the Month appointment-based programs are available for GPLD cardholders only. One appointment per person per month. Materials and guidance provided by the library.

Appointments for this project are available between Feb. 3, 2025 and Feb. 21, 2025 during week days. Follow the steps to make an appointment:

1. Click on 'Register'
2. Select a date and time that is convenient for you
3. Insert your contact information into the maker form
4. In the drop down menu under "How can we help" choose "Project of the Month"
5. In the final required notes question type in "Pillow"
