Led by author and teacher Rick Holinger, this workshop welcomes writers of all abilities and genres.
Description, Part 1: Creating character
For the next few months, we will be working on perhaps what our group sees as the most important ingredients in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry: sense images and specific details. For June, you'll receive several prompts regarding how to bring real and imagined characters into better focus.
By attending Library programs, you consent to be photographed or recorded. These images and recordings may be used for promotional materials such as the Library's website, social media, and newsletters. Please inform a staff member if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded.
The Library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request a specific accommodation, please contact the Library. View our accessibility page at https://gpld.org/accessibility.
