Read, watch, listen, and engage with your library to earn fabulous prizes in this year's Summer Challenge! Check out the information below to learn how to sign up and get started.
Beginning Sunday, June 1, register online at Readsquared as an individual or a group. Everyone will be automatically entered into our weekly prize drawings.
When you complete an activity, log into Readsquared to track your progress. Click on "Log Reading" and chose the activity type. Then, select the group members who completed that activity. You can log the activities of several group members at once.
When you earn 10, 20, and 30 points, stop by the Summer Challenge Station in the lobby for a prize. You will also receive 1 entry into the grand prize drawing for every 10 completed activities. Players can earn up to 4 grand prize drawing entries.
Make sure to complete the challenge by July 31! Winners of our weekly and grand prize drawings will be notified via email. All weekly and grand prize drawings must be collected from the library by August 13.
Summer Challenge Adult Kick-Off: Jenny’s Signature-Style Book Review

Join Jenny Riddle as she dramatically interprets today's most popular books. Before or after the show, make sure to sign up for the Summer Challenge in the lobby or through the website starting Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
First Friday: Summer Challenge Kick-Off with Wendy & DB!
Friday, June 6 • 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Kick off Summer Challenge with Wendy and DB! Join us for an interactive music concert, fun for all ages!
Wendy & DB, an award-winning kindie duo from Chicago, with two guitars, a ukulele, and their voices, write and perform songs about science, nature, diversity, animals, safety, and the arts. Their unique style is reflected in the music and catchy lyrics along with their vocal harmonies. They examine the world with curiosity and what you experience is just plain fun! Wendy and DB’s live shows for pre-school age children and families explore a variety of instruments and joyful props that get everyone moving, singing, and dancing. Wendy and DB write their songs with inclusion, diversity, love, kindness, and family values.
Before or after the show, make sure to sign up for the Summer Challenge in the lobby or through the website starting Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 12:00pm. Geneva residents of all ages are welcome to participate!
