How to Be A Better LGBTQ+ Ally

Tuesday, June 24 • 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Through reflective activities, lively discussion, and concrete examples, be empowered to be better allies for LGBTQ+ children and families in our community. Ask questions, explore new vocabulary, review the latest research, and share your favorite ways to be inclusive. This program will be led by Katie Slivovsky, a freelance content developer and former Exhibit Development Director and LGBTQ Inclusion Chair at Chicago Children's Museum.

Foreign Film Sunday: The Blue Caftan (Morocco)

Sunday, June 8 • 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Halim and Mina run a traditional caftan store in one of Morocco's oldest medinas. In order to keep up with the commands of the demanding customers, they hire Youssef. Slowly Mina realizes how much her husband is moved by the presence of the young man. Join us to watch and then discuss The Blue Caftan led by members of Geneva's International Cultural Exchange Committee (ICEC).
