Join us for a lecture by Dr. Amanda Littauer, Associate Professor of Gender Studies and History at NIU, as we honor Pride Month.
Take a moment during Pride Month to consider the diverse, inspiring, and moving stories of LGBTQIA+ people who have come before us. Queer and trans people are part of American history, and connecting with the past can also create hope for a more inclusive future.
Dr. Amanda Littauer is Associate Professor, Department of History/Center for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality and Co-Chair of the Committee on LGBT History for the American Historical Association.
