Familiarize yourself with a variety of wildflowers in this presentation by horticulturalist Sharon Yiesla.
Would you like to know more about native wildflowers? This program will cover a short introduction on using native plants in your landscape and then focus on familiarizing the audience with a variety of wildflowers. We will learn about spring woodland plants and summer prairie plants.
Sharon Yiesla has been a horticulturalist since 1983. Sharon runs her own business, "Sharon Yiesla, Horticultural Services," through which she delivers gardening presentations. She earned a BS in horticulture from Purdue University and an MS in horticulture from University of Illinois. She has taught at Illinois State University, been a horticulture specialist for University Extension in Missouri, worked as a horticulture educator with University of Illinois Extension in Lake County, and taught classes at Chicago Botanic Garden.
