Join us for GPLD's Makerspace Open House! Enjoy hands-on activities, giveaways, and creative fun. Drop in and celebrate with us!

Celebrate GPLD's Makerspace! Explore hands-on activities throughout the library and discover the creative tools, technology, and opportunities available in our new space.

Start your visit in the lobby with a fun photo opportunity and the chance to "Sticker Yourself" using our new Primera sticker printer. In the Discovery Corner, try out 3D pens and enjoy coloring sheets featuring the Makerspace logo.

Visit the Collaboration Zone for our DIY Try activity, where you can bedazzle your library card or sparkle a metal tin. In the Makerspace, take a self-guided tour, make a limited-edition GPLD Makerspace button. We'll also be handing out special-edition 3D-printed keepsakes while supplies last. Make sure to join in a prize drawing for 3D printed demos, like a yarn bowl or a cool articulated dragon! Makerspace staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions and share information about equipment, programs, and services available in the space.
