Fruteland Jackson is a 5-time Blues Music Award nominee and recipient of the "Keeping the Blues Alive" award. He has played and taught at the Library before in his program History of the Blues.
Matthew Skoller is a prominent harmonica and harp player. Skoller has been a bandleader on the Chicago blues scene since the 1980s and, in 2013, was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame.
Together, they will perform live to celebrate African American Music Appreciation Month.
