Join Storyteller Lynn Rymarz as she portrays Ruth Handler, the creator of Barbie. Step back in time to 1994, the 35th anniversary of Mattel's bestselling doll, Barbie. Hear the beginnings of this iconic doll, from inspiration to creation, and discover Ruth's beginnings, the last of ten children born to Polish-Jewish parents. Discover that there is more to Ruth's story than Barbie's. Lynn will share Ruth's autobiography, a vintage Barbie, photos, posters, and more. Bring your own Barbie to share!

Lynn Rymarz has entertained audiences with her portrayals of historical women since 2005. As a children's author and storyteller, she enjoys sharing little-known historical stories that have been published in the children's magazines Cricket and Highlights.
