Have you ever wanted to learn American Sign Language? Join us for this three-week series that will cover a variety of basic conversational signs.
Join us for this three-week journey to learn basic American Sign Language! We will learn a variety of basic signs, the importance of Deaf culture, and ways to utilize space, facial expressions, and body language to convey a message. We recommend attending all three weeks; each week builds upon the next.
Week 1: The alphabet, basic introductions, numbers 1-10
Week 2: Emotions, facial expression, body language, numbers 11-20, yes/no and WH-questions, simple conversational questions
Week 3: Colors, food, favorites/preferences, and simple descriptions
