John Cirpinski of The Spice House in Geneva will share interesting historical facts, anecdotes, and entertaining tales of spices. You'll learn how they played a crucial role in Western civilization. The spice trade was the world's biggest industry: destroying empires and leading to the discovery of new continents. Today, you only have to travel to the nearest supermarket or spice store, but cultural flavors still exist.
