Geneva Public Library patrons in grades 6-12 are eligible for our Volunteen program. Registered Volunteens will be e-mailed signup sheets listing when the Library needs help, and can commit to upcoming time slots that work for them. This flexible system makes is easy to schedule around other commitments.
The Spring 2023 Volunteen session runs January 16-April 21. Signups for this session will be accepted no later than March 25, but may close sooner depending on demand for spaces in the program.
To sign up, complete the Volunteen Sign-up Form and either drop it off at a Library service desk or e-mail it to teenvolunteers@gpld.org.
To apply, fill out the appropriate sign-up form linked below and return to the library via e-mail or in person. We will contact you with your next steps.
Opportunities for Teens Entering Grades 6–12 (Volunteens)
Donate your time and talents to your Library! It’s fun, the schedule is flexible, you’ll earn service hours, and you can put this experience on your resume or college applications. We need help with events and behind-the-scenes tasks like craft preparation, sorting, organizing, and cleaning all year round.
