Including iPhone (iOS 10 or higher), iPad (iOS 10 or higher), Android, etc.

1.  Download the Libby app
2.  Go through the guided questionnaire to select Geneva Public Library District's "eMediaLibrary" as your library.
3.  Select "Choose a Location" and select "Geneva Public Library"
4.  Type in your card number as it appears under the barcode of your GPLD card and select "Next"
5.  Type in your PIN number (Note: Your PIN by default is the last four digits of the phone number on your library account)
6.  Use the magnifying glass icon at the bottom to search for a title.
7.  Select "Borrow" next to the title you want to borrow.
8. Select the row of books icon at the bottom to go to your "Shelf."
9. Select the title you wish to read, select which app you want to read the title in, and enjoy!

Kindle and Paperwhite

1.  Go to OverDrive eMediaLibrary
2.  Sign in to OverDrive catalog with GPLD card number
3.  Select the eBook you would like and click "Borrow"
4.  Download "Kindle Book" format and confirm download
5.  Sign in to your Amazon account
6.  Click "Get library book" and sync your Kindle device

Basic eReader

Including basic Nook, basic Kobo, Sony Reader, etc.

1.  Download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer
2.  Create your Adobe ID and authorize your computer
3.  Go to OverDrive eMediaLibrary
4.  Sign in to the catalog with your GPLD card number
5.  Select the eBook you would like and click "Borrow"
6.  Download "ePub" format and confirm download
7.  Library eBooks will download and open in Adobe Digital Editions
8.  Connect eReader device and drag and drop eBook onto device

Windows oR Mac Computer

1.  Download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer
2.  Create your Adobe ID and authorize your computer
3.  Go to OverDrive eMediaLibrary
4.  Sign in to the catalog with your GPLD card number
5.  Select the eBook you would like and click "Borrow"
6.  Download "ePub" format and confirm download
