The 20s & 30s is a perfect time to start up new activities and also try new books! Come join us at the new 20s & 30s book club at Geneva Library!
This month we'll be reading the Sci-fi book called Scattered All Over the Earth by Yoko Tawada.
Japan, having vanished from the face of the earth, is now remembered as “the land of sushi.” Hiruko, its former citizen and a climate refugee herself, has a job teaching immigrant children in Denmark with her invented language Panska (Pan-Scandinavian). As she searches for anyone who can still speak her mother tongue, Hiruko finds herself on an adventure in this episodic and mesmerizing vivid novel.
The meeting this month takes place in the combined study rooms!
