We thank you for your patience, and we can't wait to welcome you to your new Library at 227 S. Seventh St., where we will offer you a safe, personalized experience. To ensure the safety of our community and staff, we will offer one-hour appointments, and while you are here we hope you will take a self-guided tour of your new library, browse, and check out materials. We also have some computers available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Time and capacity limits are in place to promote social distancing and keep everyone safe.

Now you can choose how to enjoy your Library: virtually via our website, gpld.org, with our drive-up service, or in person.

Questions? Email us at geneva.library@gpld.org, or call us at (630) 232-0780.

 We are so grateful for your support and patience and look forward to seeing you soon!

visiting your library:

Because COVID-19 still impacts our daily lives, the Library must follow standards from the State of Illinois for reopening.

We are open with limited in-building service at this time for browsing, checking out materials, and computer use.

These are the requirements for Library visits:

*Stay home if you're sick

* Enter and exit the Library from the Franklin street entrance

* Wear a face mask/covering at all times

*If you cannot or do not want to wear a mask when visiting the Library, feel free to place holds and pick up materials via our drive-up service

* Maintain social distancing (stand 6' apart)

* No food or drink

* Wash/sanitize hands often

* Children 7 and under must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times
