Your Geneva library card now gives you access to a larger selection of books, movies, DVDs - and much more - from 97 member libraries in northern Illinois now that we belong to the SWAN Library Consortium. Our neighboring libraries in Batavia and St. Charles have also joined SWAN.

We ask for your patience during this transition, and here’s what to expect:

  • Your PIN may revert to the last 4 digits of your phone number, or 512018 if there's no phone number on file.
  • There may be issues with your holds as the new system sorts itself out

Additional benefits of SWAN membership:

  • Your library card will work at any of the SWAN libraries.
  • You can select “Pick Up Anywhere” if you want to place holds on materials in the catalog and pick them up at a specific location that is closer to work or home.
  • Select your notification preferences: text, phone, and email. Visit https://www.swanlibraries.net/your-library/notifications/ for more information.
  • Items will renew two days before they are due.
