Hi, I'm Sarah. Our staff can help you find the perfect book - for your own reading, your book club, or from another library - and much more. Contact us at email@example.com or call us at 630-232-0780 if you have questions.
To keep you up-to-date with new Library books, DVDs and audiobooks subscribe to New Book Alerts. This free online service showcases the newest titles purchased by the Library. You can select to receive alerts via email and/or RSS feeds. If you see a new title that you are interested in, just click "check catalog" to place a hold on the item right away.
Through Author Check, create a free account and then make a list of your favorite authors. When a new title by one of your authors is added to the collection, you'll receive an email notice. You'll then be able to place a hold on the item.
Looking for your next great read? Fill out this form with your Geneva Public Library card number and reading preferences and our book experts will take care of the rest! Give us 24-48 hours to personalize a list of 5 books we think you'll love.
The Library will provide books for your whole book club. With advance notice, we'll have items ready for checkout a month before your club meets. We'll also create a packet of discussion questions, book reviews, and other information for each book you discuss. Please fill out this form and we'll be in touch with you within two business days.
Choose up to 15 authors from this list and we will place a hold for you on their new books before they are released. While we cannot guarantee how near the top of the list you will be, we will notify you when your next great read is available for pickup. Don't forget to choose your preferred format.
Books, audio-visual and other materials not owned by the library system may be borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan. Please note that new items may not be available for loan. Also, if you are interested in a new book that we do not own, you may request that we purchase it. If the Library purchases your requested item, a hold will be placed on it for you. A staff member will contact you if the Library is not purchasing the item.
